House Rules

Effective 1 February 2026 · Customs UK Games Ltd, London.

A. The Parlour at a glance

These house rules form the binding agreement between you (the member) and Customs UK Games Ltd, the operator of the Parlour at customsukgames.co.uk. By stepping through the doors — that is, by creating an account — you agree to abide by everything that follows.

B. Play money, always

Nothing in the Parlour is exchangeable for currency. House Credits are tokens of progress and decoration only. They cannot be sold, gifted between accounts, or redeemed outside the Parlour. Attempting to broker House Credits off-site is grounds for immediate removal.

C. Who may join

Membership is reserved for adults aged 21 and over with full legal capacity in the country where they reside. We may ask for confirmation of age and identity at any time and reserve the right to suspend any account where our reasonable doubts cannot be resolved.

D. How accounts are kept

One account per person. Account details (email, display name) must be true. Members are responsible for keeping their passwords confidential. If you suspect unauthorised access, write to the concierge at once and we will lock the seat until matters are settled.

E. Conduct within the Parlour

We expect courteous behaviour at all times. Automated play, multiple-account use, exploitation of software faults, harassment of other members or staff, impersonation, and the distribution of unlawful material are not tolerated and lead to closure of the account.

F. Our property

Cabinet artwork, illustrations, fixtures, fittings, copy, and source code remain ours or our licensors'. Members receive a personal, non-transferable licence to enjoy them within the Parlour. Reproduction, redistribution, or derivative works require our written consent.

G. Service, as offered

The Parlour is offered on an as-is basis. We use reasonable care to keep cabinets fair and the doors open, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Our maximum liability to any member, for any reason, is capped at one hundred pounds sterling.

H. Closing a membership

You may close the account at any time, with no questions, by writing to the concierge. We may close an account where these rules have been breached. Upon closure, House Credits and decorative items are forfeit, as they hold no transferable value.

I. Governing law

These rules are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved by friendly correspondence with the concierge.
